Giant Micro Collabs
Quick reached out to me for a collaboration. Together with five other creators, we developed our own version of the Giant. For two weeks, this limited edition was exclusively available through my webshop.

Interview
What is your link with the Giant?
I love burgers. The Giant is delicious.
What's the idea behind your creation?
The idea is that Giant-lovers can now also admire the burger in their home, as part of their interior, a fun & limited edition object to have. They can use it as a small pot or as a decorative display piece.
Why did you start your business?
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by all things creative. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I bought myself a drawing tablet and started making illustrations, postcards, and cartoons. However, I also wanted to work with my hands, and I loved playing with clay. This evolved into creating playful objects in porcelain and clay, inspired by contemporary things we encounter in everyday life—mostly food and edible items.
What inspires your work the most?
Food inspires me the most. I’m always searching for things that taste good but also look good in an interior, and that can be transformed into beautiful objects to place on a table or hang on a wall. And who doesn’t like food?
How did you react when Quick reached out to you?
I was surprised and excited by the invitation, as it’s a project that fits perfectly with my work. A hamburger is not only something to eat, but it can also be an aesthetic object. I love the idea of transforming something temporary, like food, into something that lasts forever. So I was very happy they thought of me.
What excited you the most about this collab?
The process of creating the first piece—the prototype—excited me the most. I wanted to stay as close as possible to the Giant. I enjoy modeling with clay, exploring and playing with it until I feel it’s perfect and finished in my eyes.
Are you satisfied with the result ?
Yes I’m happy with the result as it stays true to the Giant. Every feature is visible - the giant sauce, onion, cheese and meat. The jar can be used to store small things, such as jewelry, key,… or just as a nice object to put on a shelf or cabinet.
What can you tell us about your creation ?
I made a jar, in real size of the Giant (burger). The top of the bun is the lid and the lower part is the jar.
Which materials or techniques did you choose, and why?
The prototype was made from clay. I created a mold from it to cast porcelain hamburgers. They are painted with acrylic paint and finished with varnish.
Why did you decide to go for the jar ?
A hamburger easily lends itself to being made into a small jar and is something you can always use.
